This project develops a detached single-family house, consisting of a basement, ground floor and first floor. The orientation of the plot and the topography of the terrain, together with the regulations of the area and the programme of requirements, have been the fundamental conditioning factors of the project. To all these aforementioned factors must be added the fact of creating an architecture that seeks to accredit for itself the era in which it is built and the area in which it is implanted, that is to say, that it is capable of identifying itself as a modern-day dwelling situated in the Mediterranean area. This fact is intended to be reflected in the exterior, interior and in the very composition of the volumes, generating interior courtyards of great interest, deeply rooted in our culture.
